Frequently Asked Questions

SHIPPING - 

Please take the following shipping times into consideration. We cannot guarantee an exact shipping date when sending with Canada Post, but feel free to contact us with shipping questions and we will do our best to give you an estimated time. We want you to be happy and we will do our best to meet your expectations :)

 

We ship with Canada Post. You can choose:

Expedited : 3-4 business days in Ontario, 4-6 business days across Canada, 6-10 business days to the USA (sometimes gifts will come sooner, but we cannot guarantee it).

- Xpresspost : 2-4 business days across Canada, 3-6 business days to the USA.

Priority : 2 business days across Canada (add a day for more remote/rural areas), 2-4 business days to the USA (depending on customs).

 

**  If you order on Thursday or Friday, your gift may not get there until Tuesday/Wednesday with Xpresspost and Priority as the shipping facility is not open on the weekend to process the gift. Please take this into consideration. **

 

- Local Option - We usually deliver next-day (Monday to Friday) within the downtown core of Toronto for $10.00. Please contact us to make arrangements if you'd like delivery sooner (same day) or need clarification on delivery locations and times.  

This is only applicable for Toronto-proper. Contact us if you are not sure if your delivery area applies and if you have special requests.

*** If you order a local gift after 10am on Friday, your gift will not be delivered until Monday. ***

WE REQUIRE YOUR RECIPIENT'S PHONE NUMBER FOR THIS OPTION SO WE CAN MAKE DELIVERY ARRANGEMENTS WITH YOUR RECIPIENT. Recipient may choose a preferred delivery time that is later than next-day, which will affect the delivery time.

 

**** You will receive an email with your tracking # once we've packed and shipped your gift box. You should receive this email within 24-48 hours (Monday-Friday) after you've placed your order. If you haven't received this email, check your spam and junk folders as these emails sometimes get stuck in these folders. Contact us if you have any trouble. FOR DOWNTOWN TORONTO LOCAL DELIVERIES, YOU WILL GET AN EMAIL SAYING THAT WE'VE DELIVERED THE ITEM.

 

CAN I DO A RUSH/SAME-DAY ORDER?

We will do everything we can to try and accommodate your request but you must contact us if you have a rush order! Our boxes and baskets are assembled when you order them, with time and care. We usually deliver next-day in Toronto, but please confirm before ordering if you have specific expectations. We will do our best to accommodate but we cannot guarantee same-day. CAN I PICK UP MY PACKAGE?

Yes - only in Toronto. Pickup is free.

Please select "PICKUP from Toronto studio" as the shipping method when you checkout. We will contact you via email to arrange a pick up time from our studio in the Queen West/Trinity Bellwoods area in Toronto.

Studio Address: 198 Walnut Ave., Unit #8, Toronto, ON, M6J 2N6 - We are open by appointment only! Typical hours are 11-6:30pm Monday-Friday, with some exceptions. We are usually not in the studio on weekends. CONTACT US FOR CLARIFICATION AND TO SET UP A TIME: hello@presentdaygifts.ca

 

SHIPPING ALCOHOL?

We offer local delivery of our beer, wine and spirit boxes within the City of Toronto. Our liquor license does not permit us to send liquor through Canada Post or other carriers. We cannot ship liquor out of Ontario or to the US.

 

CAN I ADD A PERSONAL NOTE?

Yes - every gift comes with a handwritten, personal note to your recipient. When you check out, include your message in the box that says "Note to Recipient" in the first step of checkout. If you place your order and miss adding the note, just send us an email with your note request and we'll add it!

 

CAN I CUSTOMIZE MY GIFT?
